Libby has taken up gymnastics as a way to pass the time. She enjoys practicing, especially during the hours of 9pm and 4am. If she's actually sleeping during those times and her daddy comes home from work, she feels the need to wake on up and show off her skills forcing mommy to stay awake when absolutely exhausted! LOL We tried, last night at about 2:30am, having Jeromy talk to her and tell her to go to sleep and he'll come to bed in a few minutes. She actually stopped for about 10 minutes before giving up on him and bouncing around until about 4. I was pooped all day. As much as she's depriving me of sleep, I'm so excited for her arrival and love her so much already. We have two couple friends of ours due within the next few weeks, also having girls! Justin and Beth are due next week and Luke and Renee in 2. I'm so anxious for all these little girls to get here!
Renee and I threw a surprise daddy shower for Jeromy and Luke last Saturday at Buffalo Wild Wings. It turned out great! We invited a few of their guy friends to show up and just have a good time. They brought very thoughtful gifts and a lot of laughs. Our boys needed a break, a good time, and a reminder that we love them and they will have no guy time again for a while! LOL
Renee threw a baby shower for me on Sunday that was very nice. It was so wonderful to see some of my friends when all our lives have been so busy and filled with... well, life!
School has been going great and just flying by. I organized a "pumpkin patch" in our soccer field for the 2nd-6th graders that turned out great! Kruger's Farm, on Sauvie Island, gave us a deal on 135 5-8 pound pumpkins. Jeromy, Uncle Dave, Madeline and I picked them all out, weighed them and drove them back to the school. The kids had a blast and it was nice to bring the pumpkin patch to them.
Let's see... Anything else? Nothin' too exciting going on. My next appointment is on the 11th and then I go to every two weeks. I'm going to beg Dr. Prescot to let me have another ultrasound so we can see her again. I'll keep you all posted!
